Busy Weekend
Phew! We had quite a weekend. Saturday morning I took pictures for my mom at her Annual Herndon Women's Club Fashion Show. My mom's the chair, so it was fun as always.
Afterwards, I had my entire family over for my mom's birthday. Yep, my entire family, including my grandmother and grandfather. For those of you who know, that is a big step for my grandfather. We had lasagna made my my aunt, big salads, and garlic bread. For dessert, I made a blueberry and lemon cake with lemon cream cheese icing. After stuffing our faces, mostly everyone stayed pretty late to watch the hokies win in the theater room.
Today we went to the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show at the Washington Convention Center. It was awesome, the show was filled with free samples of food, liquor, wine, and cooking shows. We saw Paula Deen's sons, Jaime and Bobby. They were very entertaining and had a huge turnout to watch them.
