Hello Officer
So, today I'm working from home... I've been reading books and working on little projects all week and figured I could do the same just as well as from home. My boss agreed, so here I am. I worked all morning until about 2pm and decided I needed a little break. Since it is such a beautiful day, I put on my walking shoes, got my ipod and camera, and headed outside.
I walked all around, taking tons of pictures of random a nature like this...
I walked through the town center, around some condos on the other side of the street and back to the W&OD trail. While I was walking home, I totally got pulled over by two bike cops. That's right, they surrounded me. They asked what I was doing and why. I said, taking pictures because I like to. They asked of what. I said, random stuff. They asked to see the pictures. I said, why did I do something wrong? I made certain not to get any pictures of people. They said they just wanted to see my photography skills... yeah right. So, instead of arguing, I gave up my rights and showed them my pictures. My pictures of random nature. They told me that the pictures are really good and that I should stick to what I'm doing. Ok... Oh yeah, and make sure not to get any pictures of buildings or people.. because there are laws against that in virginia. yeah, ok. i know that there's "secret" stuff out there, but seriously... do i look like a spy or something?

eff that! ...I would have refused to show them any pictures A) because you don't have to and B) because cops can't stand to lose control of a situation - if you assert your rights (and rightfully so) they assume you have done something illegal - which is total BS...so let them get their panties in a wrinkle next time.
but it all fairness - you do look like a terrorist
