After a delicious and fun night of Festivus Celebrations (thanks Frank!), i was lounging in bed, enjoying my first day off. What should wake me up? My cellphone of course. The first time it rang, I just let it go on to voicemail... not concerned. Then it proceeded to ring for two more calls. apparently, someone was desparately trying to reach me...

two voicemails... who are they? my customer and my prime PM. uggg... apparently the head head head honcho and the head head honcho from the customer site were having issues.

so, i login to email. the issues they were having were the same issues they were having last week. the same issues that we are waiting on our cots vendor for. the same issues that they have a release schedule for the fixes. the same issues that i resolved last week in person with them and over email. but who can expect them to read email or remember conversations?? not me... so, first day off is turning into not a day off, but a work from home day.

i'll try again tomorrow for a first day off.
