country music

we have taken a strange turn in country music. no longer are we confined to songs about love, jesus, mama, trucks, and trains. check out some of the recent song titles.

Joe Nichols - "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off"
Neal McCoy - "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On"
Craig Morgan - "Redneck Yacht Club"
Trace Adkins - "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk"
Carrie Underwood - "Jesus Takes The Wheel"
Gretchen Wilson - "All Jacked Up"

I strongly recommend you listen to "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk"

nip tuck

you know, i have never really watched that show, but it looks like it would be good.

what i am referring to is a face lift for ice cold. finally i will attempt to fix the comments section, new logo and layout, and whatever else i can come up with along the way.

thanks to the JT's for continuing to sponsor ice cold and to tucker for rectifying the technical issues. although, i never noticed the site was not working since i my postings have been sparse at best.

note:
i tried to write "since i my postings have been sparatic at best". but i cant spell and spell check's best guess at that word was 'spermatic'. what the hell is spermatic?

IM blocked

i hate this company. i mean, i really do.

just received an email letting us know that all IM applications will be blocked. reason? the IM worm that is going around.

so dont give a patch or anything, just block it. really is keeping with the company mentality though.

"The purpose of this communication is to alert all users that in the event of a significant Instant Messaging vulnerability exploit we will immediately block all Instant Messaging on the network without further notice in an effort to ensure business continuity."

here is my question. since they have always blocked the default port for both MSN and IM they obviously do not want people on IM. i was able to route IM through port 80 (or 8080, dont remember) and it works fine. they wont block port 80 will they? i guess i will find out when they do it...
