let me tell you about me.

i do not like spending money on services that i think i can do myself. case in point take a look at this section of my honey-do list.

- build fence in backyard
- lay hardwood on stairs
- change breaks
- fix leaky kitchen sink
- repair cracks and paint just about every room in the house

shit like that i could pay someone to do, but it would cost a whole lot more. granted it would get done, and probably turn out better if done by a professional, but i just dont have it in me as a man to ask for professional help when i have friends and beer. friends and beer can figure out about anything.

not so much the case this past weekend when hoover and i decided the hoe was going to get a break job.

well not a real break job, just changing the pads, but you get the jist. paid $37 for the pads. new truck so the roters are fine and do not need turning. got the tire off after a trip to the hoovers garage (i dont have diddly shit when i come to tools). tried to get the caliper off. another trip to the hoovers garage (see above). caliper not budging. defeatedly put tire back on.

next day have brady talk to chevy dealer (he was there getting service). $400+ to have breaks done.

i will be aquiring an impact wrench to get that caliper off.

Google Blog Search

this is quite a depressing day indeed. as soon as i heard about Google's Blog Search i immediately did a search for "ICE COLD"...

20 minutes later... still nothing related to this blog. hmmm

i did a search for "the tards", surely there is something from this site there... 20 minutes later... nothing

i have come to 2 conclusions.
1) i am not vein and do not need my blog name in and all over each post. ice cold being that name. that name again? ice cold. ice cold said what? oh, it said ice cold.

2) there are a lot of people with tard problems.

fighting back

kim sent me this article from msnbc.

take a read and then meet me back here...

...ok
so what do you think? ouch comes to mind, but aside from that is the fact that South Africa has such a bad rape problem that a woman would conciously get ready in the morning and affix this device before heading out for the day. that is scary.

also what if you were to legitimatly pick up a woman at a bar and she just forgets to remove this contraption?
