a few days ago i had an epiphany.

i turned down 3 job offers with 3 very reputable consulting firms before i took my job here at BP. one firm wanted me to work in DC which i had no intrest in. another wanted me to wear a suit everyday, not something i was willing to do. the third needed a Cognos person, something i was moving away from.

as i sit here in my suit, in DC, writing a business case to bring Cognos into my project i have to laugh. and by laugh i mean whimper quietly...

sitting here trying to think up a story that is even halfway interesting to post about, and i am stumped. so i am going to babble a bit.

i have recently bought a house in Ashburn. the Broadlands to be more specific. the place is awesome and i get to move in on Dec. 7th. there will be a signup sheet for people that are interested in helping on Dec. 11th.

had a great thanksgiving full of the 3 F's: family, friends, and furry animals. all of the family and friends are doing well, and unfortunatly so are the furry animals. i hunted all weekend and nothing! i am facing the realization that i suck. i may need counciling.

the free ipod thing is going well, but i still need a few more. i went to cancel my Rhapsody account today and they gave me another 14 days free, and i can continue for $4.95 after that. so that is cool.

bought some livingroom furniture on sunday from Belfort in Dulles. that place is freeking huge. but got a great deal.

trying to figure out which company i want to get my tv from. do i do Direct TV with TiVo? adelphia digital cable? Dish Network? if i want internet access, it looks like i will have to go through adelphia unless you all know of any other options for broadband.

need to get a new job since next week i will be commuting from Ashburn to DC. there is 3 hours of my life i will never get back. BP may set me up in a satelite office, but i am STILL WAITING FROM OTHER PLACES! i have to let them know soon what i am going to do. we will see.

i spend about 10 minutes a day cleaning the blog from penis enlargement and texas holdem comments. that sucks. is there a way to turn comments off after a certain number of days?

where in the world is Ice Cold going?

it has come to my attention that i posess the power to transfer within BP to wherever i want. this comes from a discussion i had with the BP resource manager this morning. i expressed my concern with leaving DC and he opened a whole new light.

what i need from you are suggestions. anywhere you have thought about going yourselves, somewhere fun, close to water of some sort, anything...

it all starts about 8am when i park my car. i get lucky and find a spot infront of one of the 12 clubs in the area, Club 55! View image

after a bullet dodging sprint down the infamous ally (View image), and hurdeling the hypodermics (View image), i am home free to the office building.

take a quick look back to cover my 20 and make sure i have not stirred up any crackheads, and see two gay nightclubs. the folks at PPC will recognize WET, which is behind the tree. View image

let me prefice...

all of these videos are taken from a digital camera from inside our house. we are pussies sometimes and did not want them to see us filming them. partly because we do not want them to stop and partly because we are scared of a raging tard. these are older videos meaning we have had them for awhile. each video i have chosen to post here shows some tard activity, some you can see, some you can hear, some you can see and hear.

Video #1 - tard on the phone. i feel this one is humorous because of chips comentary. they are always on the phone. even more than they are screaming at each other they are on the phone walking in circles. with this clip you get to see a tard in his natural habitat.

Video #2 and Video #3 are from the same night. this is the night they almost lit the house on fire. again the footage is not great, but you can get the gist.

favorite quote from Vid #2 "you better put that out before you catch the house on fire. the hotdogs are done"

Video #4 (big file, loads slow) - the fight. in the white is the mom, blue the drunk father figure, and in the black is a tard. see if you can see the brick bieng thrown. you may want to turn the vlume up for this one. can you understand them? we can! we now speak fluent tard.

holloween 04' did not let me down this year. although i was not crawling into the womens bathroom in a mini skirt and wig, knocking people out of the way, and vomiting perfusely (don't laugh, that actually happened in 02'), it was still a blast.

we were back in DC at Politikis on the hill. Steph babes was a freekishly sexy cruella deville, pops was don king (yeah a 7 foot tall white don king), and Jr. and I went as Maverick and Goose. The only regret i have is that no one lost that lovin' feelin like we had planned.
